It is majestic when the Piz Val Gronda cable car floats over the snow of the Tyrolean mountains. The cable car also blends beautifully into the landscape - ecological concerns were taken into account when the 2-person cable car was built in 2013. The lift provided access to the Piz Val Gronda at 2,812 meters above sea level. Incidentally, the border between Austria and Switzerland runs directly across the summit.
The construction of this aerial tramway was the most environmentally conscious option. One detail that immediately stands out: only two supports were needed, and a cable trench along the cable car route was not necessary at all.
